Find the root cause, feel better now.
An integrative approach to diagnosis. My aim is to treat the root cause of illness while managing associated symptoms.
Most health insurance plans will cover some or all of your Naturopathic visit costs. If you have questions, please contact your health plan administrator to find out how much your plan covers and how to submit claims.
No two patients are alike, and therefore no two treatments are alike. I strive to tailor a treatment plan specific to your health and wellness goals.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I recognize that health and healing are unique to each person. Therefore I use a wide range of diagnostics and recommend naturopathic treatments that are highly individualized. My goal is to treat the underlying cause of disease and create a comprehensive treatment plan to help you reach your health goals and empower you to live your most vibrant life.
Nutrition is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. Together we review your current dietary intake and correct nutritional deficiencies, optimize your nutrient levels, and identify food sensitivities. Any assessed nutrient deficiencies are fixed with good quality supplements and guidance on specialized diets.
Why guess when you can assess? Appropriate tests will help us understand your individual physiology and to uncover the true cause of your health concerns. Various testing is available through blood, saliva or urine.
Naturopathic Doctors are professionally trained to know the historical uses of plants and the modern pharmacological mechanisms and interactions with plant constituents. A naturopathic prescription will usually include whole plants or plant constituents in the form of herbal tinctures, extracts, teas, and capsules.
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes 55 medical conditions that are effectively treated using acupuncture, a modality that has 2000 years of traditional use behind it. A recent study in the Archives of Internal Medicine concluded that individuals with back pain that were treated with acupuncture had lasting relief in contrast to patients receiving medications and other medical treatments.
While the diet is our foundation, there are times in our lives where we require more than what we can get from our food.
Vitamins, minerals and other nutrients may be prescribed to treat specific conditions, to reverse deficiencies and to support the body during times of higher demand.
I work alongside other healthcare providers so you are receiving the most holistic, integrative care possible. The treatments I prescribe will be carefully researched so that they are not interacting with your current medications and regimens.

As a licensed naturopathic doctor, I work with you to identify and treat the root of the problem, not just the symptoms; to understand your concerns and connect the dots of your story. I then provide you with an individualized treatment plan that addresses what we discover together and remove whatever is blocking you from feeling your best. I use therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, individualized nutrition, orthomolecular medicine and supplementation, classical homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and lifestyle counselling.
I am there to support your healing process every step of the way. My recommendations are meant to complement, not replace conventional medicine while supporting the body back to health. My approach addresses the whole person and treatment is designed to be effective yet gentle, while avoiding any contraindications with other treatments of conventional drugs you may be taking.
When it comes to your health, you have options in choosing natural therapies and I believe it is important for you to make educated decisions. If you would like to explore how I can help, please consider booking a consultation with me.
