About

Dr. Diana Semjonov, Naturopathic Doctor

As a licensed naturopathic doctor, I work with you to identify and treat the root of the problem, not just the symptoms; to understand your concerns and connect the dots of your story. I then provide you with an individualized treatment plan that addresses what we discover together and remove whatever is blocking you from feeling your best. I use therapies such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, individualized nutrition, orthomolecular medicine and supplementation, classical homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and lifestyle counselling.

I am there to support your healing process every step of the way. My recommendations are meant to complement, not replace conventional medicine while supporting the body back to health. My approach addresses the whole person and treatment is designed to be effective yet gentle, while avoiding any contraindications with other treatments of conventional drugs you may be taking.

When it comes to your health, you have options in choosing natural therapies and I believe it is important for you to make educated decisions.  If you would like to explore how I can help, please consider booking a consultation with me.

  • To be an innovator by using up-to-date research.

My training:

My training includes a four-year Doctor of Naturopathy medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto after completing an engineering degree from the University of Toronto.

After more than 3000 hours of classroom study, I completed a medical internship at the Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), an outpatient teaching hospital associated with the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) as well as an internship at Sherbourne Health Center in Toronto. The Sherbourne health center is a community-based clinic providing care to people living with HIV and AIDS.

As a clinical intern, I spent 1200 clinical hours and treated more 270 patients for common health concerns including digestive issues, heart disease, gynecological and female problems (fibroids, cervical cancer, endometriosis, PMS), mental health, complications of HIV and chronic autoimmune conditions. I have completed special training in Homeopathy in India under the world renowned Dr. Rajan Sankaran and also hold advanced certification in Functional and Personalized Hormone Restoration Therapy. I continually advance my education to bring the latest in research and technology to my patients.

To be licensed and practice, I have written 2 nationwide licensing medical exams NPLEX I & II (Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations).

Currently licensed in Ontario and in good standing under the regulatory body of The College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

When not in clinic:

You may find me formulating skin care, in the kitchen trying new healthy recipes, doing yoga, and reading up on health!
